Yao Ming

Yao Ming is my favorite basketball star. He was born on September 12th, 1980, in Shanghai. He stands 2.26 meters tall and weighs about 134 kilograms. His favorite color is blue, and he likes eating meat very much. In 1997, he joined the Shanghai Basketball Team and became a basketball player. In 1998, he joined China's National Team. In 2000, he joined the Asian All-Star Basketball Team. In 2002, he joined the American Houston Rockets. He is famous all over the world now, and we are proud of him.

David Beckham

Throughout the whole world, David Beckham is my most admire person. Not only because I like football, but also I have been moved by his spirit. We all know that in the year 1998, Beckham had a sinner in the World Cup. The red card nearly ended his sports career. But his spirit is so strong that nothing can stop him. After his great effort, he finally succeeded. He has one of the most famous football players, which makes me admire him so much. From a sinner to a hero, he suffers from so much pain. I need to learn from him.

We always admire those heroes. They can guide us in life. The hero in my heart is Michael Phelps. He is really great. We all know that he got 8 gold medals in the 2008 Olympics. But maybe you don't how hard he trained before it. He said, "I know one thing: no one trains harder than me." When his childhood did not go well, he was always cheated by his classmates for his big ears and long arms. But he faced the difficulty he faced, and that is the reason why he could succeed today. So I really admire him, and I will learn a lot from him. I will study very hard from now on.

Mr. King's dream of all men created equal is mine too. When I hear his speech, I come to know that I have the same dream that people should work together and live together like brothers. Nobody will take advantage of others, with less work but more income. But no, Mr. King's dream remains as a dream even after so many decades since he left us. Look, people who have more houses want to keep them all for themselves, although there are so many people who do not even have a room to stay in.

Yang Liwei

In October 2003, Shenzhou V flew into space with Yang Liwei. He was China's first man in space. It was really hard in doing everything. Now he plays basketball very well and beautifully, and he speaks good English too. If we all learn from Yao Ming and work hard at what we do, we can be successful too.

Jackie Chan

I like to watch movies, and there are many movie stars. I like Jackie Chen most. He is a famous Chinese actor and he is also famous around the world. When I was 7 years old, I watched a lot of his movies. When I meet difficulty, I think of Jackie Chen, and his bravery leads me to move on.
