Choosing a Career

Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions you will make in your life. It is important to choose a career that you are passionate about and that will allow you to use your skills and talents. There are many factors to consider when choosing a career, such as your interests, skills, values, and personality. It is also important to consider the job market and the potential for advancement. Once you have considered all of these factors, you can start on the path to realizing your professional goals.

For me, I have made up my mind to be a teacher. I choose to do so mainly for three reasons. First, I want to teach because I like the pace of the academic calendar. Two long vacations offer me an opportunity for reflection, research, and writing. Secondly, I want to teach because I like the freedom to make my own mistakes, to learn my own lesson, to stimulate myself and my students. And I can have the opportunity to keep on learning. Finally, I want to teach because I believe that teaching is a noble profession that can make a positive impact on society.
